St. Joseph’s English Medium School, Sankarakhol is a co-educational institution. Realizing the need for providing quality English Medium education to students of Kandhamal and the neighboring districts, the Education Society of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Annecy, established the school in the year 2014. This school is drawing students from everywhere in search for better education.

The aim of St. Joseph’s English Medium School, Sankarakhol is to provide a challenging, yet caring and supportive environment for learning in which each pupil is able to develop the personality, talents, mental and physical capability to achieve the highest standards of which he/she is capable.

The Society runs this English Medium school at the request of the people of Sankarakhol who feel the need for English Medium Education. We expect the parents to meet the entire expense of education themselves as the state government or other agencies do not give any financial help towards the school. Therefore, we expect generous and wholehearted contribution from the parents, and the fee levied will be utilized for the payment of salary of the staff and other running expenses and development of the school.
