St. Joseph’s English Medium School, Sankarakhol, established in the year 2014 is a minority institution run and administered by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Annecy, India. It is within the religious jurisdiction of the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Cuttack- Bhubaneswar. It is recognized by the Educational Department of the State Government of Odisha but not aided. The Medium of instruction is English, with due emphasis on the study of the following Indian language, Odia and Hindi.
