St Joseph English Medium School, Sankarakhol, marked a special day on 21 Jan 2026 with the gracious visit of Rev. Sr. Tessy, Assistant Superior General, and Rev. Sr. Jacqueline, General Councillor. They were accompanied by Rev. Sr. Justine, Provincial Superior, and Rev. Sr. Divya, Assistant Provincial.

The guests were accorded a warm and vibrant welcome by the students, who lined the approach road holding flowers. They were escorted to the campus amidst an atmosphere of joy and anticipation, accompanied by Sr. Vani, Sr. Alice John, the Manager, and the Principal.

A traditional Aarti was performed on the dais by the staff members. Sr. Joicy and Ms Monika introduced the distinguished visitors and welcomed them with bouquets and shawls. The ceremonial lighting of the lamp followed, symbolising knowledge and enlightenment.

The programme featured a prayer dance by the students, after which Sr. Alice John presented a brief report on the school’s progress and achievements. Cultural performances by the students reflected unity in diversity and showcased their talents.

In their brief addresses, the visiting sisters encouraged students and staff to pursue excellence with commitment and faith. Sr. Catherine proposed the vote of thanks, expressing appreciation to all who contributed to the success of the occasion.

The Rejoining Day celebration was a meaningful and memorable event, leaving a deep and lasting impression on the school community.
