Teachers’ Day Celebration 2026
Teachers’ Day was celebrated with joy, gratitude and enthusiasm at St. Joseph English Medium School, Sankarakhol, on 5th September 2026. The programme began at 8:45 a.m. with a warm welcome to the teachers by the students, who presented them with Aarti and badges as a gesture of love and appreciation.
The celebration continued with a prayer service led by the Principal, followed by the lighting of the lamps, symbolising knowledge, wisdom, hope and the light that teachers bring to the lives of their students. A floral tribute was also offered to Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, whose birth anniversary is observed as Teachers’ Day in India.
The students presented a welcome dance followed by a vibrant cultural programme showcasing their talents. Fun-filled games for the teachers added to the spirit of joy and togetherness.
The Manager addressed the gathering with a heartfelt message of appreciation, acknowledging the teachers’ dedication, hard work and commitment to shaping the future of the students. His words encouraged and inspired the teachers in their noble mission of education.
