Students acknowledged with gratitude the valuable contribution of their teachers and thus organized a very entertaining celebration to mark Teacher’s Day. Teachers play a major role in making students responsible citizens of tomorrow and good human beings. Hence, a wide range of activities was organized on this occasion to express their gratitude.
A warm welcome with flowers, cards and a tastefully decorated entrance was a pleasant surprise for all the teachers. Students performed Arati as the teachers entered the programme hall.
Fun-filled games were planned for the teachers that reminded them teachers of their school days and made them feel nostalgic. That was not all; the students planned many spectacles for the day and showcased many scintillating dance performances.
The melodious songs, the heart-throbbing dances and the thrilling games made the day the most memorable for the teachers. The day concluded by honouring the teachers for their valuable contributions to the school. The Principal, Sr. Liby George, felicitated them with special gifts and bouquets. The Principal reminded the students of the tireless labour and love all the teachers put in to bring them up as knowledgeable and compassionate individuals. It was an unforgettable day for all the Josephites, with many memorable moments. She inspired everyone by saying that being a teacher is the greatest privilege to contribute towards Nation Building. All the teachers applauded the overwhelming zeal and enthusiasm of the students for making such a glorious event to cherish forever. The Principal extended her heartiest thanks to all students on behalf of the staff. The management provided a sumptuous lunch for teachers, and everyone dispersed happily.
