St. Joseph’s English Medium School, Sankarakhol was excited to welcome back our students to school for offline classes after a long break due to Covid 19 pandemic. The Covid 19 pandemic kept away the students for the last two years and the students had to follow the remote learning. Teachers had to go beyond their job description and wear many hats and play numerous roles to impart education to students while they were at home. And we have recognized that for many of our students, the best place to learn is in a traditional classroom setting.

WE are back home

So when the students returned to school, there was unspeakable joy and enthusiasm among the students as well as the staff. The school welcomed them with a welcome back banner.  The school kept the campus clean and sanitized, Provided facilities for frequent hand washing and self-hygiene practices in the school.

The Principal, in the morning assembly, extended a warm welcome to the students and said, “I trust that we all will take proper precautions to safeguard ourselves from the virus, I want to remind our staff and students to stay vigilant and exercise personal accountability in ensuring the health and safety of our school campus.” She asked everyone to continue to maintain social distance to the extent possible. She also reminded, individuals who are experiencing any signs or symptoms of illness to stay home as a measure to prevent the spread of the virus which is still around. The students were advised to keep their focus on the Annual Examination which is to be commenced on 7th March 2022. She blessed everyone and wished a lovely time back in the school. As conclusion she said that she believes in the strength and resilience of our school community and confident that together we will come back stronger than ever’.
