St. Joseph’s English Medium School, Sankarakhol commemorated the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, Father of the Nation in a befitting manner. To reinforce the teachings of Bapuji, the school set aside one week prior to the Gandhi Jayanti from 23rd September to 2nd October 2019 to conduct various activities and competitions like speeches, slogan writing, collage, cultural programmes, quiz on the life of Gandhi. Swatch Bharat divas, cleanliness drive, painting, a rally was also held to spread awareness and to uphold his teachings and values were organized. The staff and the students whole heartedly participated in all the activities with much enthusiasm and excitement. The winners were awarded during the Gandhi Jayanti celebration and the portrait of Gandhiji was given a floral tribute.
