St. Joseph’s English medium School, Sankarakhol celebrated the Teachers’ Day on 5th September 2021 amidst the Pandemic following the protocols of Covid -19. Every student celebrated this day to acknowledge and support the contribution of his or her teacher. They sent greetings cards and messages to wish their teachers. The school management organized a short yet significant offline celebration for the teachers.

The Principal conducted a prayer service for the teachers with the help of the PowerPoint and acknowledged their giftedness and presented them with gifts and a flower plant. Principal in her key note address highlighted the contribution made by teachers to society also honored Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the great teacher, academic philosopher and India’s Second President who was a strong supporter of education.
In spite of the restrictions few students ran into the school to meet their teachers and to delight them. They gave spontaneous programs like dances, songs and even conducted games for the teachers. The students celebrated the day with full of zeal and enthusiasm. It was a day of amusement and surpassing joy for the teachers to see their students putting in their heart and soul to make their teachers exultant.
