A one-day workshop for teachers was organized to stimulate innovation in teaching and learning approaches. Fr. Biranji Soreng SJ was the resource person. The session began with the introductory speech of the Principal. She introduced the resource person of the day and welcomed everyone to make the best use of the resourcefulness of the efficient person Fr. Biranji. The resource person began the session with a few video clips and a slide show of our school. He encouraged each teacher to speak up about the unique aspects of this school that they appreciate the most. Each one shared what touched them the most in this school. It was to make the teachers become aware of the richness and beauty of what they already behold in this institution.
Fr Biranchi made them realize that the more they appreciate the better they will be able to serve with love and commitment. He also added his share of appreciation for this school. He appreciated the clean and green surroundings, child-friendly environment, well-equipped infrastructure, happy children, digital classrooms etc. He then asked a teacher to give the demo class. Soumyakanta Panda Sir gave the demo of a Science lesson and the resource person appreciated the way he introduced and presented the lesson. The resource person explained and expanded the Ignatian pedagogy; the goal, process, context, experience, reflection, action, evaluation and challenges. The teachers thanked the resource person and Sr. Lilly Boliar Singh the Vice- Principal proposed the vote of thanks.
