Janmashtami Celebration 2026
Janmashtami, celebrating the birth of Lord Krishna, was observed with joy and enthusiasm during the morning assembly at St. Joseph English Medium School, Sankarakhol, on 3rd September 2026.
The celebration began with a brief reflection on the significance of the festival. The Principal highlighted the spiritual and moral teachings of Lord Krishna, particularly truth, righteousness, love, compassion and the sincere fulfilment of one’s duties.
Students actively participated through short speeches on the life and teachings of Lord Krishna. The celebration was further enlivened by students dressed as Radha and Krishna and a graceful dance performance depicting the festive spirit.
The programme concluded with an invitation to the students to live out these values in their daily lives and to promote love, peace, kindness and harmony.
