The Investiture Ceremony for the new School Cabinet was held on 7th July 2025 in the school premises, at 9.30 am to encourage and kindle leadership qualities in our young prodigies. The student council for the session 2025-2026 was formed. Students were chosen for positions like School Captain, Vice-Captain, House Leaders, Assistant House Leaders and Class Prefects. The event was conducted with great enthusiasm and a sense of solemn responsibility as students entered their new leadership roles. The ceremony began with welcoming the Chief Guest Sushant Kanhar, the parish priest of St. Thomas Church, Sankarakhol. He was warmly received and presented with bouquet of flowers as a token of respect and appreciation.
Following the welcome, the newly elected student cabinet marched in a disciplined procession to the stage, symbolising the beginning of their journey as student leaders. The Chief Guest conferred the sashes to the cabinet members, signifying their official induction into office.
The highlight of the event was the oath-taking ceremony. The school principal administered the oath, encouraging the new leaders to uphold the school’s values and carry out their duties with honesty, dedication and commitment. The ceremony concluded with inspiring words from the chief guest, who emphasised the importance of leadership rooted in service and integrity. The Investiture Ceremony was a proud and memorable occasion, setting a hopeful tone for the year ahead with a strong student leadership team ready to serve the school. As a token of appreciation, the chief guest was felicitated by the principal and Vice-Principal with a shawl and fruits.
The newly elected school captain expressed gratitude on behalf of all the student leaders by delivering a heartfelt vote of thanks. The captain thanked the school management, teachers and fellow students for their trust and support and promised to carry out duties honestly and enthusiastically. The ceremony, concluded on a patriotic note with the singing of the National Anthem.
