Morning assembly is the time when the whole school gathers in one place. It is a beautiful way to start our day with a prayer. The school resembles a holy place at morning assembly. The atmosphere is all calm and quite. The commands of the teacher in charge of the assembly prepare the students to fall in position. Students who are to lead the prayer come on to the stage and stand facing the assembly. Almost all with closed eyes sing the praise of God. After the prayer a student delivers a thought for the day for reflection and assimilation. Students also read the important news of the day. Some days assemblies are made very interesting with adequate commemoration of various events with speeches, stories, poems, dances etc. Principal makes various announcements, gives moral instructions and reminders. The assembly comes to an end and the students quietly move to their respective classes. Cleanliness committee does their duty by checking the uniform, nails etc. Everything happens in a disciplined manner. On every Wednesday after the assembly students do mass drill or yoga for physical fitness. Morning assembly inculcates moral values and prepares students to start their routine on after praying to God. This habit formed stands them in good stead throughout their life.
