The teachers of St. Joseph’s English Medium School, Sankrakhol, strive hard for the perfection of their students and work hard throughout the year. In recognition of their dedicated service to the institution, the management allowed the teaching and non- teaching staff to go on a staff picnic to unwind and rejuvenate.
The staff picnic, a beloved tradition here, helps the teachers interact, integrate and bond with each other in an informal setting, which is an important part of a well-rounded staff appreciation programme. It was indeed a day filled with excitement when the staff assembled in school at 7. 45 am to unwind. The Outing for teachers was kept on the 11th of February 2023, and the destination set for this year’s Outing was Daringbadi and Mandasaru
Daringbadi, known as the ‘Kashmir of Odisha, is a beautiful hill station in Odisha. It is known as the “We spent time in the pine forest, coffee garden, Butterfly Park and relaxed in the splendid valleys. Midubanda Waterfall amidst a dense green forest was the best of all.
Towards evening, we set our journey to Mandasaru- Pristine is the correct word to describe this place. The view from the top of the hill was mind-blowing. The tower house, which is two storeys, gave a stunning view of sunrise and sunset. Due to the innocent hospitality of the tribal women, awesome serenity and absolute peacefulness, no one liked to leave this place.
Indeed the day was filled with joy and laughter in the company of all colleagues. Every staff member enjoyed the day to the fullest with sumptuous lunch and an environment filled with love and good cheer. Though the picnic was done in a day, the memories will linger long.
