On 21 June, our School celebrated International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm and active participation from students and teachers. The event aimed to raise awareness about the importance of yoga in maintaining physical and mental well being.
The celebration began with a speech by the principal, who highlighted the significance of yoga in our daily life. She emphasized how yoga helps improve concentration, build discipline and promote a healthy lifestyle. After that the students gathered on the school ground to perform various yoga asanas under the guidance of the teachers. The children participated with great energy and interest .The event concluded with a short meditation session.
